Fall represents a time for transformations, both personal and environmental. With the change of seasons comes a renewed time to rethink and restart. Fall is the perfect time to embrace CHANGE! We leave summer heat behind and the blooming flowers are replaced by crisp leaves. Symbolism is etched in the spiritual fabric of Fall.
Let's explore why fall is a super season for rejuvenating mind, body & spirit.
Integrate exercise into your life.
Gorgeous canopy of fall foliage makes walking, hiking and biking an awesome experience. If you're taking the kids to soccer, pair up with another parent and walk.
Try a walking meeting. I have found it's a great time to brainstorm or work through details that need immediate action. And everyone finishes the meeting feeing great.
You can even get moving while getting motivated for fitness or other life goals. Get some motivational music or find a motivational talk to play for 30 minutes.
Think outside the box.
Always wanted to learn how to dance or paint? Fall is a great time to learn something new or gain a new physical skill. And, by next summer you would have mastered your new skill.
Fall is the time to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. Get a massage after exercising. Learn to meditate.
Treat yourself not just with exercise and healthy food but with other activities that promote self-care, so you can feel good physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
How many times have you set New Year's Resolutions to find yourself restarting them in the fall or not all?
While on the other hand, a fall fitness start has you feeling connected to new habits going into the holidays and gives encouragement to continuing your new found habits into the next year.
It is for these reasons I chose to host a Fall Fitness retreat for women only on October 18th at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort. For more information regarding the retreat click link below.
